Additional Contract Information

We like to keep this as low-key and personal as we can – that's just who we are. However, in light of the current events and the simple fact that parameters stated ahead of time alleviate confusion and doubt, here are our Wellness Policy and Payment Terms. Upon signing the estimate/contract and paying a deposit, you are agreeing to the statements below. (Whew! We liked the handshake days much better!)

Wellness Policy

Flathead Home Repair LLC (James & Jenn Mayrand) understands the difficulties posed when dealing with infectious/communicable diseases and viruses. We put OUR health first, because if WE aren't healthy we can't properly serve YOU.

We wash our hands and keep a clean environment, both at home and at work. WE DO NOT WEAR MASKS unless dealing with harmful construction substances.

We respect your wishes for the health and safety of YOUR family! Please communicate early and often about your personal protection requirements and your health should you fall ill. No one wants to share a cold, the flu or anything else of that nature! We (of course) will do the same – we don't show up if we're sick!

We love what we do and want EVERYONE to continue to be healthy!

Payment terms for repairs/remodels requiring a signed contract:

  • A 10% deposit and signed estimate/contract secures your spot on our schedule.

  • Your payment schedule will be clearly stated on your estimate/contract.

  • We do not currently accept credit card payments.

  • Scheduled payments are due upon receipt; invoices are due upon receipt. We allow a 5 business day grace period for mail service, life, etc.! We understand the mail isn’t always on time and life happens!

Payment terms for handyman jobs/simple repairs:

  • We do not currently accept credit card payments.

  • We will mail an invoice within a day or two. If you’d like to pay on the spot, we can email a paid invoice receipt within a couple of days. We allow a 5 business day grace period for mail service, life, etc.! If something comes up and it’s late, give us a call - we’re not perfect either.
